1. Best Overall: HP Zbook 15V G5
CPU: 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7-8750H
RAM: 32GB
Storage: 2TB SSD + 2TB HDD
Display: 15.6″ FHD Touch-Screen
GPU: Nvidia Quadro P600
Camera: 720p HD
Battery: Up to 10 hours
Warranty: Not specified
We had no problem setting up the HP Zbook 15V G5 exactly as we wanted to
suit our needs. The laptop is a fast one, with the Intel Core i7 clocked at 2.2
GHz, it is blazing fast. You can be certain it is worth the price with how good
the processor is alone.
The 32GB RAM is more than enough for playing a lot of high-end games
& using high-resource software that is required for machine learning, video
editing, animation, etc. Not to mention, there’s a 2TB SSD + 2TB HDD, so you’ll
never have a scarcity of storage and will be able to store all your favorite
games & software.
We played a lot of games, tried a lot of GPU intensive software such as
Revit, Blender 3D, etc. and believe us, The laptop handled them all well. It
transitioned without any glitches, slowdowns or lags and yet kept up with the
graphics & the quality. Thanks to the NVIDIA Quadro P600 with 4GB GDDR5
VRAM.
The keyboard is to our satisfaction as well. The keys are larger than
what you would usually see in a laptop, thus allowing users to tap on each key
correctly. As you can see, the 15.6 inches of a screen and 1920×1080 resolution
means you can have the laptop on split-screen mode and work through multiple
applications at the same time without straining your eyes.
Higher the specifications, the higher is the power consumption. The
battery life and capacity are good though not as wonderful as we would have
liked it to be for a video editing laptop. It is better suited as a personal
home computer than the one you travel with.
Pros
Amazing storage space
Large screen
Good keyboard layout
Cons
Battery life isn’t that good
The screen is a little dark
The graphics are good but not amazing enough for games
2. Best for Gaming: HP 4674671 Omen

CPU: 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7-6700HQ

GPU: 4GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 965M
Camera: HP Wide Vision HD

Gaming laptops are making waves currently. With 12GB RAM, Omen is one
powerful machine at a reasonable price. It is a used product but works just
like new. In fact, it is backed by Amazon Renewed Guarantee. The HP 4674671
Omen 17-W033DX Gaming Laptop has been inspected and tested under stringent
conditions.
The laptop has great power, is fast and allows multitasking at an
all-new level. The storage of 1 TB SSD provides a super-fast computing
experience. You can just keep on storing albums, music and media files till
eternity. Experience the most powerful hardware and a cool design to match up.
We watched a movie and played the Overwatch and Skyrim, the experience
was just awesome, thanks to the wide 17.3-inch screen with 1920 x 1080
resolution. The games and graphics are crisp and sharp. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M
graphics along with 4GB GDDR5 skillfully enhances the video memory.
There is a USB 3.0 for quicker charging and file transfers at 10x speed.
It transfers files faster than USB 2.0. You can play games and work on
complicated and heavy applications with ease. You can play the most aggressive
games on this laptop. The audio and 4k IPS display is to die for. Battery life
is approximately 3.5 hours, with all the heavy-duty work it does.
Pros
Condition is excellent
Backlit keyboard is handy
Graphics and Display is awesome
Processor works really fast
Great gaming experience
Cons
Battery life is very short
Complaints of flickering screens
Mouse is a touchpad with multiple functions can be cumbersome
3. Best for Business Executives: HP
Envy 13
Processor: 1.8 GHz Intel Core i7-8565U
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 1TB SSD
Display: 13.3″ 4K IPS UHD Touch-Screen
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce MX250
Camera: 720p HD
Battery: Up to 6 hours
Warranty: Not specified
You expect a premium laptop to deliver more than just good looks.
At only 2.5 pounds, the HP Envy 13 is sleek and capable of great
performance, which makes it a true Ultrabook.
It works on Intel Core i7-8565U and has a whopping 1TB SSD that
brings both worlds of a faster system and good storage space together. However,
the key to its premium appeal starts from the brushed aluminum chassis.
The 13.3-inch 4K IPS UHD touch screen display comes is excellent
and could playback Stranger Things in 4K from Netflix flawlessly using the
NVIDIA GeForce MX250GPU. It is, however, not very good for gaming at high FPS.
The fast charge batteries can go from 0 to 50 in 45 minutes. If
you watch movies in 4K, the battery is consumed in about 5.5 hours. So if
you are someone who travels a lot, you could just plug it in before your class
and have enough charge for a few hours.
The webcam is the weakest feature, but that can be solved by getting an external conference webcam. The pictures
were grainy, even in a brightly lit lab. Since it is so thin, we had some
concerns about overheating. But it stayed quite cool probably because the
aluminum chassis does not trap heat.
There are 4 speakers produce clear but slightly metallic sound. On
either side, you get a USB 3.1 Type-A port. The left side also has a Type-C
port and the right side, a card reader.
Pros
Very attractively designed
Innovative ports to the side with a flap operated drop jaw
Hi-Res display that is bright and vivid even in strong sunlight
Cons
Lack of Thunderbolt 3 port
The webcam is not good quality
The aluminum chassis is prone to bumps and dings

This 2-in-1 system with Intel Core i7, 16GB
RAM and 512GB of SSD storage are quite sufficient to keep up with the
competitive world on the go. The stylus makes matters exciting by allowing you
to draw and write with ease. It simply glides on the surface of the touch
screen.
The 4K display with 3840 x 2160 screen
resolution also calls for attention along with the sleek design. There are slim
bezels on the vertical sides with a thicker one at the top and bottom. The body
is dark greyish silver with shiny gold highlights on the edges, hinges and the
area surrounding the touchpad.
At 4.61 lbs it is a bit heavy. The laptop has
a charging port on the left side along with USB 3.1 port, speaker grille,
headphone jack, and SD card slot. The HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 touch screen
laptop has a fingerprint sensor as well.
The hinges work quite well, whether you are
working on the keyboard or on the touchscreen. It works as a tablet as
well. The screen display is very crisp and free from pixelation. Good for
browsing and social networking.

This is a notebook for the entrepreneur though
the design doesn’t fall into the trap plain, rectangular shape. Instead, it
looks slim and sleek with the Elitebook logo engraved on the hinge.
The Elitebook has sufficient battery life to
go through your average workday and is powered with Intel Core i7-8650U,
equipped with16 GB of RAM and 512 GB storage.
The keyboard is an island-style, a classy one
with backlit and a pointing stick. The keys are the slightest bit
elevated, giving it a nice touch that we found satisfying as we were able to
tap on the keys without worrying about typos. While the chin of the display
appeared to be a bit thick, as the bezel portion is slim, it looks attractive
enough.
The sound on this laptop is amazing. The
speakers provide the perfect surrounding sound you need while you are working
on an important business presentation. You can work on several applications at
the same time without experiencing any lag.
We didn’t find Intel UHD Graphics 620 graphics
to be that good and don’t think the laptop is suitable for gamers. The LCD
screen with 3840 x 2160 display surprisingly looks average on this device.
However, if you are deep in office work and want a laptop that has the best
security systems enabled, you will certainly want to go for this one.

Clad in brown leather, with exceptional looks
and 10 hours of battery life, the HP Spectre Folio is a dream machine.
The device is slightly more than 0.5 inches
thick. Naturally, there is not enough space for a lot of ports. What you do get
are two Thunderbolt 3 ports on the right side (capable of data transfer at 40
GB/sec) and a USB Type-C on the left paired with a headphone jack. The rear has
a SIM slot.
It effortlessly changes from a laptop to a
tablet in an instant. The FHD 1920 x 1080 touchscreen is very responsive
and works well. With 313 nits of brightness, it is no surprise that movie
playback is so vivid and lifelike.
HP bundles a stylus that is more than capable
of taking notes or doodling. The speaker strip produces a loud and clear sound
that is perfectly matched with the screen.
The keyboard is quite large, with well-spaced
keys that are backlit. The sole minus is that the i7-8500Y Processor 1.5 GHz is
not as powerful as the latest H series. Hence gamers won’t be too happy.
Pros
Classy and sophisticated leather cladding

most programs run very smoothly. The RAM along with the power the processor
creates is great for a multitude of applications making this laptop useful for
many different types of users.
This laptop provides a lot of connectivity
options including a USB Type-C and an SD card reader. The body and finish
are one of the weak points of this laptop, the lid is prone to twisting so it
needs to be handled carefully.
Pros

With angular edges and smart, classy design,
the HP Envy x360 is an impeccable device. At almost three pounds, it is light
yet functional.
The Ryzen 5 CPU works smoothly in the
background. 8 GB of DDR4 is more than enough to keep open tons of memory
hogging software and yet not slow down the performance noticeably.
The touchscreen display is large and very
clear. The speaker strip produces a clear and crisp sound that is refreshing.
It is one of the rare laptops where you can watch a long movie without wishing
that you had access to a bigger device.
As has become a standard fixture in this
class, there are two USB 3.1 Type-A ports and one Type-C. As usual, the Vega 8
graphics card is perfect and does not heat up even if you play games for
several hours.
The only downside seems to be the keyboard,
which is not ergonomic. The keys are small, and the travel is minimal. The
claim about battery seems little stretched as in our tests, the battery lasted
about 7 hours.

After covering several HP laptops, we found
the Probook 450 to be the ideal business-level laptop as considered in this
price range.
The HP Probook 450 is suitable for
professionals, home, school education, and small businesses. Having an 8th
generation i5 processor, it is super fast and efficient and can smoothly handle
day-to-day tasks without a lag. Its clean and simplistic design imparts a nice
look and feels to the device.
The overall build quality is also pretty
decent. Unlike many laptops, this model from HP comes with a flexible and
smooth linear hinge that allows the user to flip open and close the laptop with
one hand, which keeps the lid firmly in place.
There are two parallel openings placed at the
bottom of the laptop for letting out the heated air, unlike other laptops in
which it is usually placed at the sides.
The laptop comes with a 1366 x 768 screen
resolution having a Matt-finish anti-glare coating, which is good for your
eyes. Even though it has less viewing angles, you can still manage to have a
decent visual experience.
The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v4.2 combo have
breakneck transfer speeds, allowing you to have great networking experience.
Its 720p webcam is decent, providing a good Skype calling experience.
Coming to the key typing experience, we would
say that it is one of the best in this price range. The keyboard of the HP
ProBook series provides a decent tactile feel with a satisfactory key travel
and a comfortable typing experience.
The touchpad, made of glass, provides a great
navigating experience as well. It comes with integrated buttons and

The natural finger-touch navigation is useful

However, with good enough hardware, this
Notebook doesn’t have a good display screen. It has 15″ Touchscreen with a

The HP Stream 11 is perfect for increasing
your productivity. After testing it for a month of usage, we found that it is
ideal for students and lightworkers to get away with their day-to-day workflow.
However, due to its limited storage capacities
and not-so-powerful Intel x5-e8000 processor, you will not be able to run any
studio or modeling and other high-end software. You can always switch to
Windows 10 Home. But you cannot switch back to the S mode again. The 11.6″

720p HD youtube video streaming.
Based on our observations on our one-month
usage, we would say that the keyboard has good tactile feedback and smooth key
travel, making it comfortable to work on. This is a lightweight laptop and is
pretty small, which is suitable for traveling purposes. It offers adequate
performance and enables a smooth, light productivity work experience.
The video recording or video conferencing
experience with its VGA webcam was terrible. You may use it for simple and
light everyday usage. But we are expecting an update for more improvised camera
quality. We may have to wait for it till the next year, however.
It comes with two bottom-facing speakers,
which provide decent sound quality and comes in impressive volume levels. What
we liked about the laptop is its multi-touch and super sensitive touchpad,
which was not expected in this price range. The two-finger scrolling and
